In case of discrepancy between this document and the Conditions, the former will prevail.
1.Legal warranty
The legal warranty lasts for 1 (one) year and covers defects and faults in the Products purchased by the Buyer through the e-Shop (https://shop.carpigiani.com), pursuant to and for the purposes of Article 1490 of the Italian Civil Code without prejudice to, among others, the peremptory terms for its effective date and activation, pursuant to the Conditions.
Please refer specifically to Articles 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 of the Conditions for the types of defects covered, returns, refunds, and limitation of Carpigiani's liability, as well as remedies available when there are defects in the Products purchased.
The legal warranty is automatically void in the event of tampering with, replacement or modification of the Products not authorized or performed by Carpigiani.
In addition, with specific, but not exclusive, reference to machines, the legal warranty does not cover the following parts:
- Parts subject to normal wear and tear and/or consumables
- Electrical parts in general, except where otherwise specified
- Parts and labor to repair malfunction or damage caused by operator error
- Parts and operations for malfunctions resulting from improper use of the machine
- Parts and operations for malfunctions resulting from unauthorized technical interventions and/or carried out by technicians not qualified by Carpigiani
- Parts and operations for malfunctions resulting from external causes such as power surges, flooding, excessive temperatures, falls, etc.
- Parts and operations not attributable to manufacturing defects or defects already present when originally manufactured.
(jointly, the “Exclusions”).

If the service requested by the Buyer is not covered by the warranty, it will be subject to the call-out fee, at the cost to be communicated, from time to time, by the servicing party (dealer).
Work not covered by warranty (even if extended) must always be paid for in full by the Buyer.
Where the Buyer decides, after the outcome of the call, not to proceed with the service indicated by the servicing party (dealer), the call-out fee will still be due at the cost applicable from time to time.
